After hard-working on studies for half a year, I am glad that I pass all the subjects. Whats more, I got in the top 100 of almost all monthly exam, which I never thought that I can achieve. In a good mood, the winter vacation seems so short. As if it only last for a week. After that, time passed by like the river flows into the sea. The first monthly exam is going to be held on the day after tomorrow. Although there will be only four subjects, pressure is still what all of the students suffered from.
In the new semaster, subject like physics and biology disappear, change into chemistry and earth science. For students, whatever subject is boring, but a humorous teacher can change you mind. For instance, our chemistry teacher, who is 33 and good at combine some dirty jokes with chemistry knowledge, makes all of us stay highly focus on his class.

Me
My name is Leo. It has been a long time since I enter my blog last time. I started to run this blog since I was 13 years old. My English teacher, Debbie, told me to set the blog in order to share different ideas of events to club members and foreign students far in another countries. After two years of running the blog and having joy for two years, I turned into a third grader, who had to study really hard to enter the ideal high school. That's the reason why I quit this blog for almost a year. Today, I am a student of Kaohsiung Senior High School, starting a new part of my life. Without question, studies here are definitly hard to understand. Therefore, more efforts have to be done for studying.

Peace That Olympics Brings
In
884BC, the first Olympic Truce was born. Three rulers from Elis,
Sparta and Pisa
signed on the treaty. They agreed to stop fighting against each other from the
seven days before the game and the seventh after the game.
Nowadays,
the Olympic Truce is back. It means not only peace, but also the opportunity to
compete with top athletes around the world. Through sports, it promotes peace
to the world. Such as the Sydney Games in summer, the North and South Korean
delegations entered the Stadium under the same flag. That never happened in the
past 50 years, but the Olympic Truce made it possible.
Besides
the Truce, the Truce Walls also symbolize peace. The first one was created in
2004 Athens Games. It is a visible symbol that represents peace. Athletes and
officials signed on it to pledge to support the peace through sport.
Until
now, the Olympic Truce is still working to ensure that peace goes forever. It
brings a better way and also a better future.

Taipei101
Many years ago, the Netherlands controlled the whole Taiwan . At that time, the business center was in Tainan , a port city in the southwest of Taiwan . Taipei , the capital right now, wasn’t developed at that time. After four hundred years, Taipei became the capital and the tallest building, Taipei 101, is now the representative of Taiwan .

food fair
I think having food fair is a good activity. You can not only learn English but also have delicious food. In the learning part, you can learn some vocabulary, recipes of traditional Taiwanese food, and the correct English name of that kind of Taiwanese food. For example, the real name of 刈包 is steamed burger. In the food part, the food, every team prepared, was delicious. While we were eating, friendships developed and also saved money for that night’s dinner. As for the table manners, it’s quite important to follow the rules while you’re eating with guests or elders. If you don’t obey the rules, they might think that you’re not polite.

What I do in the summer vacation
This summer , I visited many places. I had a great time at all places I've been. Views were fascinating and the activities were great too. Although some meals were not delicious at all, but I still had great memories about the trips to the middle of Taiwan.

The field trip
All students in BBC went to a wetland for a field trip last Wednesday. There were many kinds of creatures, such as birds, plants, insects and the amphibious. At the beginning, the volunteer told us that the government helped them with the pond, trees and also fences. That's what the government did. The government protects the environment in this way. All of us learned a lot from the field trip. The only problem was the bus driver. He was late and forgot where to pick us up. That's really bad.
